The Diósgyőr Papermill Corp. is the only one in Hungary to produce security paper against forgery. The necessary machinery investment was made in 1997 when the mill purchased a combined (flat table and mould made) paper machine.

Fourdrinier production

This method is used for the production of papers with general usage. This is a quick and economical way to produce uniformed paper in great quantities. The form of the watermark is a  wire or relief - which is placed on the dandy roll - and it is pressed into the wet pulp during the production process.

Mould made production

This method is proper for the production of special, multitone watermark and also paper with windowed security thread. In this case the form of the watermark is pressed into the mould cover.
The paper machine is provided with computer control, with continuous controlling system which ensure the parameters of the paper and the position of the watermark according to regulations, which are necessary to the safe production in compliance with the European standard.

There is a possibility of surface treatment and impregnation inside the production, the two processes can be applied even together. The smoothness of the paper is provided by special machine-smoothers.
According to the requests of the customer we can reach an even higher smoothness on the surface of the reel with the help of our super calander, so the paper can be used even in the digital printers which are sensitive for surface.

The grammage of the paper is 60-300 g/m2. The product made on the manufacturing line proceed to further working up in reel, in case of positioned watermark paper we use cutting-machines of great precision to cut the reels into sheets.
